MASUNAGA, designed by Kenzo Takada, is a collaboration between MASUNAGA, a leading Japanese eyewear manufacturer, and the world-renowned Japanese designer Kenzo Takada.
Since its launch in 2014 in Paris, France, the collaboration has created high-quality luxury eyewear by combining vintage-inspired elements with fashion-forward contemporary design. The collection was unveiled in January 2020 in Paris at Maison & Objet, the leading home décor fair, and is a colourful ode to life.
Masunaga K3 AQUILA is a new combination frame with a unique structure. These sophisticated looks combine delicate and gorgeous metal parts with uniquely cut acetate parts.
The new hexagonal decoration part on the back of the front is decorative and functional to prevent the screw from loosening. Newly designed temples are created with a motif from a lorgnette handle that was popular in the 19th century. There is K三 logo at the temple end.
