MASUNAGA, designed by Kenzo Takada, is a collaboration between MASUNAGA, a leading Japanese eyewear manufacturer, and the world-renowned Japanese designer Kenzo Takada.
Since its launch in 2014 in Paris, France, the collaboration has created high-quality luxury eyewear by combining vintage-inspired elements with fashion-forward contemporary design. The collection was unveiled in January 2020 in Paris at Maison & Objet, the leading home décor fair, and is a colourful ode to life.
Masunaga K3 SUZU is a unisex frame with a double bridge design inspired by Japanese aesthetics.By cutting out front parts from a 3mm thick titanium sheet, the bridge and the top part gain volume while their surface is flattened, representing their modern beauty in a classic shape. The titanium top bar has a separate piece with a pressed arabesque pattern. Adding a separate part on the top will be both decorative and functional.
